“Our first restaurant, on Van Baerlestraat, is where it all began. The funny thing is that it didn't even start out as a restaurant. We started out as a shop with a few tables. But then suddenly people started queuing at the tables, asking for wine and table service. This led to a lot of dirty dishes, resulting in the need for dishwashers, bartenders, etc. That's how the concept became what it is today. '
Here are Karlijn's favorites on the menu.
KING CRAB
“When I'm dining with friends, I always order the King Crab. It's a great dish to share and it's soooo good. '
FRUITS DE MER
'This dish is also perfect for sharing, there's something for everyone and it's very Instagram-worthy:) '
OYSTERS
“A lot of people come here especially for the oysters. We have 5 different varieties, some of which are seasonal. '
LOBSTER SOUP
“This is a great starter. Or combine it with a salad as a main course. '
MIXED GRILL PLATTER
“All grilled (shell) fish such as scampi, squid, shrimps and lobster. Also great for sharing. Or keep it all to yourself ;-). '
